John McEwan-Whyte is a professional actor and writer based in Edinburgh.
Born and raised in Scotland, John began professionally acting whilst studying physics at the University of Glasgow. With early roles in River City and M.I. High John eventually gained more success with a featured role in the Bafta award winning film, Tommy's Honour, working beside one of his personal heroes Peter Mullan.
After graduating John continued his acting career in London starring as 'The Fairy Rock Mother' in the award winning musical "The People's Rock". Whilst there John established himself as a professional playwright and working as a writer/producer for the London/Oslo based production company Redeeming Features.
John has recently moved back to Scotland where he spends his time between acting jobs providing content for his popular instagram page, promoting his recent children's book and performing his own music.
